The United States must exclude any other strikes on Iran if it wants to resume diplomatic talks.

Majid Takht Rafishi says that the Trump administration told Iran through brokers that it wanted to return to negotiations, but it “did not clarify their position” regarding the “very important question” of further attacks during the talks.

The military operation of Israel, which started in the early hours of June 13, made a sixth round of indirect talks mainly to be held in Muscat after two days.

The United States participated directly in the conflict between Israel and Iran at the end of last week when it targeted three Iranian nuclear sites in a bombing raid.

TAKHT-RAVANCHI also said that Iran will “insist” to be able to enrich uranium for what it says are peaceful purposes, and he rejected the accusations that Iran was secretly moving towards developing a nuclear bomb.

He said that Iran was “deprived of reaching nuclear materials” for the necessary research program “to rely on ourselves.”

The Deputy Foreign Minister said: “The level of that can be discussed, the ability can be discussed, but saying that you should not have an enrichment, you must have any enrichment, and if you do not agree, we will bomb you – this is the law of the forest,” said Deputy Foreign Minister.

Israel began its attacks, targeting nuclear and military sites as well as the assassination of leaders and scientists, in Iran on June 13, claiming that Tehran was about to build a nuclear weapon.

Iran replied to attack Israel with missiles. Harmical works lasted for 12 days, as the United States dropped bombs on three Iranian nuclear sites: Fordo, Natanz and Safhan.

The extent of damage to the Iranian nuclear program by the American strikes was not clear, and Takht-Ravanchi said he could not give an accurate evaluation.

Raphael Grossi, head of the IAEA, said that strikes caused severe damage but “not”, while US President Donald Trump announced that Iranian nuclear facilities were “completely reassured.”

Grosso also said that Iran has the ability to start enriching uranium again in “months”. In response, Takht-Ravanchi said he does not know if this is the case.

Iran’s relationship with the International Atomic Energy Agency has become increasingly tense. On Wednesday, Parliament moved to the suspension of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, accusing the International Energy Agency, the International Agency for Reflexers with Israel and the United States.

Trump said, “He will fully think about bombing Iran again if intelligence found that he could enrich uranium at levels.

TAKHT-RAVANCI said that no date was agreed for a possible return to the talks and he did not know what would be on the agenda, after Trump suggested discussions that could take place this week.

“Now we are seeking to obtain an answer to this question: Are we going to see a repetition of the aggression aggression while participating in the dialogue?”

He said that the United States should be “completely clear about this very important question” and “What will they give us in order to provide the necessary confidence for such a dialogue.”

In response to a question about whether Iran can consider rethinking its nuclear program as part of any deal, perhaps in exchange for sanctions, Takht Ravenchy said: “Why should we agree on such a proposal?”

He reiterated that Iran, including enriching uranium to 60 %, was “peaceful purposes”.

Under a 2015 nuclear deal with global powers, Iran was not allowed to enrich uranium above 3.67 % of purity – the required level of fuel for commercial nuclear power plants – and was not allowed to implement any enrichment at the Fordo Factory for 15 years.

However, Trump abandoned the agreement in 2018 during his first term as a president, saying he did little to stop a road to a bomb and restore US sanctions.

Iran has risen by increasingly violating restrictions – especially those related to enrichment. Fordo enrichment resumed in 2021 and collected enough 60 % enriched uranium to manufacture nine nuclear bombs, according to the International Agency.

Pressure on European and Western leaders who suffer from confidence towards Iran, TAKHT-RAVANCI accused some European leaders of “ridiculous” authentication from the United States and Israel.

He said that those who criticize Iran because of its nuclear program “should criticize the way we deal with” and criticize the United States and Israel.

He added: “And if they do not have the courage to criticize America, they must silence, and not to try to justify the aggression.”

TAKHT-RAVANCHI also said that Iran had received messages through the brokers that the United States “does not want to engage in regime change in Iran” by targeting the country’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamanni.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the Iranians to “rise for their freedom” to drop the verbal rule in our crude, but after the ceasefire arrived last week, Trump said he did not want the same.

TAKHT-RAVANCI insisted that it would not happen and that the idea was “a sterile exercise.”

He said that although some Iranians “may have criticism of some measures by the government, when it comes to foreign aggression, they will unite to confront it.”

The Deputy Foreign Minister said that it is “not completely clear” if the ceasefire with Israel will continue, but Iran will continue to note “as long as there is no military attack against us.”

He said that Iran’s Arab allies in the Persian Gulf “are doing their best to try to prepare the necessary atmosphere for dialogue.” It is known that Qatar has played a major role in the current ceasefire.

He added: “We do not want the war. We want to engage in dialogue and diplomacy, but we have to be ready, we must be careful, and not be surprised again.”

Les Dostit is allowed to report from Iran, provided that none of its reports are used by the Persian Persian service. This law applies from the Iranian authorities to all international media agencies operating in Iran.
