The United Nations Air Agency finds Russia responsible for entering MH17

Russia was responsible for the decline in airline flight in Malaysia, MH17, on eastern Ukraine in July 2014, and the United Nations Agency ruled.

“We call Russia to finally confront its responsibility for this terrible act of violence and prepare compensation for its terrible behavior,” Australian Foreign Minister Benny Wong said in a statement.

Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp said it represents an “important step towards proving the truth and achieving justice and accountability.”

He added: “The states cannot violate international law without punishment.”
