A spokesman for the United Nations trucks carried assistance to the war -torn Sudanese region in North Darfur, with preliminary reports on “multiple losses.”

The Sudanese government said that “the guards, drivers and civilians” were killed in the attack, which was blamed for the RSF, a paramilitary group fighting the army in an arduous civil war.

However, RSF blamed the army for the attack, which occurred in the town of Al -Kuma on Monday night.

The United Nations did not say who is responsible, but made it clear that the convoy was attacked while waiting for the departure, a vibrant city where the circumstances of famine were reported.

El -Fasher is the last major location in North Darfur under the control of the army. Civilians and military personnel there were attacked by RSF for more than a year.

A spokeswoman for RSF Pasha said in a post on X.

The EL-Koma Emergency Room, a group of local volunteer respondents, posted a video of a burning truck, loaded with supplies, on Facebook. They blamed the attack on “Sudanese Army aircraft”.

The RSF controlled Kuma was the target of repeated attacks in the conflict between the paramilitary group and the army.

The city’s attacks led to civilian death and the main infrastructure was damaged.

The emergency room in Al -Kuma said at least 89 people were killed or wounded after the Sudanese army warplanes fired air strikes in the city on Sunday. The army did not respond to this accusation.

According to the Sudan Tribune News website, the aircraft hit a crowded market in Kuma.

The war, which started more than two years ago, created one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

On Tuesday, Eujin byun, a spokesman for the United Nations Refugee Agency, said more than four million people have fled since the beginning of the conflict.

The civil war broke out in 2023 after an evil struggle for power between the army and RSF.

The two had organized a coup to obstruct Sudan’s move to democracy, before their leaders fell.
