The UK’s trade deficit widened in November, due to a decline in exports

The UK’s total trade deficit in goods and services widened by £3.8 billion to £10.8 billion in the three months to November 2024, due to exports falling more heavily than imports.

The value of goods imports fell by £0.3 billion (0.6%) in November, due to lower imports from the European Union.
