“This issue is whether it is open to the court to judge that the United Kingdom must withdraw from multilateral defense cooperation … because of the possibility that some of the UK’s manufactured components will be provided or may be provided at the end to Israel, and can be used to commit a serious violation of international humanitarian law in the conflict in Gaza,” the ruling said.
He added, “Under our constitution, this acute sensitive and political issue is an issue of the executive authority, which is a democratic official before the parliament and at the end of the voters, not the courts.”
