Just four weeks before India Boeing 787-8 disrupted shortly after taking off from Ahmed Abad, the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had a sign of fuel control keys on several Boeing aircraft and ordered daily tests. The UK’s aviation organizer issued safety notice on May 15, when operators of five Boeing models, including 787 Dreamliner, reviewed the directives of the US Federal Aviation Administration (AD) and determined whether it had affected their fleet.

FAA directed the fuel closure valve outlets as a potential source of safety. “The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a directive in favor of air (AD) that deals with an unsafe condition that affects the fuel closure valves installed on the following Boeing aircraft: B737, B757, B767, B777, B787,” read the CAA notice.

The organizer directed the airline operators to a test, inspection or replacement of fuel closure valves engines in Boeing 787s, among other things. Moreover, safety notice is specifically ordered to implement the daily tests of fuel closure valves on aircraft affected by the advertisement.

The matter came to the interface after the AAIB Aircraft Investigation Bureau in India in its initial report on the crash of the Indian aircraft, the fuel control key, which regulates the flow of fuel to each engine, was unexpectedly moved to the “pieces” shortly after the boot, which disrupts the engines.

Meanwhile, Campbell Wilson CEO said in connection with the selection of employees of the transport company that the initial report of the AAIB Aircraft Investigation Office on the plane crash did not find any mechanical or maintenance problems. According to the statement, Wilson stated that all mandatory maintenance checks have been completed. He said that there was no fuel quality problem and lack of defects during the boot roll.

He added that the pilots had passed their compulsory tests before the trip, which did not reveal any unusual notes on their medical condition.
