The Transnnes Credit Agency has released a new report indicating that Gen Z and Millennials were the main engines of an increase of 30 % in the betting activity in Q2 2025.

The data compares 25 % positively for the same period last year, with the report destroying the specified types of betting in which people participate.

Transunion is a global data company and ideas that have been collected for decades. As part of the latest Tennis reportThe company has provided the most crowded parts across various portable games applications.

The report was sharpened on these gamblers who spend $ 50 or more per month, as they dig the markets in which they participated, in addition to providing a demographic reflection of these users.

It was interesting to note that the study found that physical casinos were still the first platform for betting, just before the sports betting online, and although the numbers increased in all areas for thousands of years, it was the activity of sports books online that only increased for Gen Z.

This part of the report showed all 9 % increases, 7 %, 11 %, 7 %, 9 % and 11 % in the two millennial betting in the following categories: casino (land), casino (online), sports book (land), sports book (online), lottery (land), and lottery (online).

The same categories of Gen Z produced numbers of -6 %, 0 %, -1 %, 7 %, -1 % -3 %.

Adult adults show that they are the most consumer of gambling in the Transunion report

On the population composition, the data obtained from the customer intelligence platform in Transunion showed that most users by using mobile applications were tenants in urban areas, mostly, with no children.

Within this data collection, there was another indication that the millennial generation was more likely to own their home and to have children, compared to General Z.

It is not surprising, that both the Millennium Generation and General Z were more prevalent among users of encrypted currency applications compared to other groups in the population, with gambling activity and coding trading currency coded on applications.

“Although gambling has risen across almost all generations, younger adults have returned until they were the most active consumer sector,” Declan Raines, the President of Transnion’s Games

“This report helps operators better understand these consumers so that they can improve their marketing efforts.”
