The threads, the Meta’s Microbloging platform, tests the text of the spoiler, according to mail From Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The text of the spoiler refers to the words (or images) that are gray in a post and become readable only if you manually click to see them. As the name suggests, the spoiler text is often used on platforms like Discord or Reddit to help people communicate about films, new TV programs or books without accidentally disclosing plot points for people who are not busy.

This is a good quality upgrade on the user’s side, but it also helps to encourage more conversations about pop culture without worrying people about spoiling others.

Meta said in a press statement: “The common offers like” The Last of Us “and” The White Lotus “are regularly heading on the threads during their seasons, and it is a clear sign of the growing application community of lovers of culture and pop.

The text of the spoiler can also be useful in other conditions, such as non -clarity of text or non -violating images, but it may still be out of some users. (Looking at my friend who participates in #Bruisewatch updates after FRISIBE games.)

As a feature currently in the test, the text/pictures of the spoiler has not been presented to all users. For those who have, the text or images can be distinguished as spoilers by highlighting them before publishing, then choosing “Mark Spiiler” from the menu that appears.
