The police launched an investigation after the saboteurs targeted the murals of baseball legends Jackie Robinson Mini Miniuu.
The paintings, which are located along a fence in Dorshi Park in Miami, are part of a group of artworks. Biblical stars.
Negro League teams played matches in the historic park.
Community members held a press conference and said that sabotage was discovered by a 7 -year -old boy. The spokesman said at the press conference that the signs that were left on the murals were identified as Nazi symbols.

The plywood has been placed since then on the murals of Robinson and Miniuu.
“I know that you may not be able to show it on television, but we need society to reveal the existing harm and hatred,” Terns Krebisor, Miami Black City Executive Director, told the police. “The reason for this continued is that we continue to cover up it.”

She said: “We must deal with this as it is: the crime of hatred that aims to instill fear and division. But we will not be afraid. We will respond to unity, flexibility and a fixed commitment to truth, justice and preserving our history.”
Robinson broke the color barrier in the baseball game in the main league in 1947 when he became the first black player, as he fell with Brooklyn Dodger. Miñoso has become the first player from AFRO-Latino in MLB and the first black player for Chicago White Sox.
Murals have been shown in the park since 2011.
