Frankfurt (Reuters)-The President of T-Mobile Us, the high-growth and profitable sub-company in Deutsche Telekom in Germany, is due to the end of his current contract, the German newspaper Handelsblatt reported on Monday.
Handelsblatt reported that Mike Siever, who has headed the mobile operator since 2020, wanted to take a break and that the chief operating official of Sri Joballan, until recently the work of Deutsche Telecom in Germany, was a pioneering candidate for him.
The newspaper added that the CEO will step down this year or the next.
“We do not comment on rumors or speculation,” said a spokesman for T-Mobile Us, adding Sitert, “he loves his job … Mike and the Council are happy because we have recruited SRINI to join our team as CO and bring his experience to our business.”
Deutsche Telecom immediately did not respond to the report.
Previously in the face of problems, T-Mobile has become a revenue and profit driver in recent years. Thanks to the strong characters of the American mobile phone player, Deutsche Telekom has raised its profits several times.
The growth of T-Mobile US customer decreased at the beginning of the year due to the intensive price war. However, the subsidiary company aims to win from 5.5 to 6 million new users by 2025.
Severt, who joined T-Mobile as the head of marketing in 2012, was scheduled to remain in post until 2028.
