The Sudanese army accused the forces of the Libyan military commander, Khalifa Haftar, of attacking Sudanese border jobs, which is the first time that its northwestern neighbor has accused of direct participation in the country’s civil war, now in its third year.

In a statement, Sudanese army spokesman, Nabil Abdullah, said that the attack took place in the border triangle Libya and Mouraa, a region to the north of one of the main front lines of the war, Al -Fashir, the capital of Northern Darfur.

He said that the attack constitutes a “flagrant aggression against Sudan.”

Abdullah added: “We will defend our country and our national sovereignty, and we will black out, regardless of the extent of the conspiracy and aggression supported by the United Arab Emirates and its militias in the region.”

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the United Arab Emirates of supporting the attack, describing it as a “dangerous escalation” and “a flagrant violation of international law.”

“The borders of Sudan with Libya have long worked as a major corridor for weapons and mercenaries who support terrorist militias, with funding and coordination of the United Arab Emirates by the Haftar forces and the terrorist groups affiliated,” she said in a statement.

There was no immediate response from the drilling forces.

RSF did not issue an official statement, but a source inside the group said that its fighters took control of Monday from the entrance to the Jebel Uweinat, a remote mountainous area located where the three countries meet, according to the news agency of Agence France -Presse.
