Last week, Leeds ended the departure of Matteo JosephWho joined La Liga Side Mallorca on a long season loan. The 21 -year -old was strongly associated with eland throughout the summer, and returning to his hometown of Spain was completed.
Joseph appeared for the first time with Mallorca during the weekend in his 3-0 defeat against Barcelona, where he was a half-time alternative. Although this was the first difficult match for him in Spanish football, he enjoys life in the nation of his birth.
Matteo Joseph opens that he is not happy in Leeds
In an interview with the athlete (cross Leedsunited.newsJoseph revealed that he himself enjoyed a lot in Mallorca compared to his last year on the ELLAND road.
“Here (in Mallorca), give me a feeling that I am very close and very honest, people who have confidence in me. I am very happy with the confidence they have in me. My parents are so happy.
“The past two years were very difficult. My parents noticed that I did not enjoy football at the club level. Now, they told me they saw me in a different way, they see me smiling and more enthusiastic. They are so happy.”
Although Joseph is still contracting with Leeds, there is every opportunity to have already played his final match for the club. It will not be surprising to see him leaving on a permanent basis in 2026, whether it is in Mallorca or another club – probably in the Spanish League. Regardless, his comments can make it difficult for him to return.
