Foreign Minister Marco Rubio is planning to integrate the responsibilities of the Palestinian Affairs Office into The American embassy in Jerusalem In an attempt to continue a diplomatic mission in the capital of Israel, which President Donald Trump set up during his first term.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tami Bruce spokesman announced Rubio’s decision at a press conference on Tuesday.

Bruce said: “Minister Rubio decided to integrate the responsibilities of the Office of the Palestinian Affairs Office completely in other sections of the United States embassy in Jerusalem,” Bruce said. “This decision will restore the first frame of Trump to a unified diplomatic mission in the Israel capital, which reports to the US ambassador to Israel.”

She added that the US ambassador to Israel Mike Hackabi will start making the necessary changes to implement the merger in the coming weeks.
