The sleek, white OnePlus 13 is great for gamers, but its battery is disappointing

I like the arctic white color that my review sample came in. With chrome accents, it looks smart and elegant.

Aside from the color, there is a strong family resemblance to the OnePlus 12 phone released last year.

OnePlus stands out against the iPhone 16 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro.

The phone has an IP69 water resistance rating, so you don’t have to worry too much about dropping it in water.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite processor delivers some of the best benchmark results I’ve ever seen from a phone.

The result is a phone that is fast and responsive in everyday use.

The 6.8-inch screen is bright and vibrant, and you can adjust the color tones to suit your taste if you want.

Cameras are one of the main weak points here.

Although the phone can take good photos, it relies on heavy image processing that adds a lot of digital clarity to the images. Shooting in Master mode produced more natural results than the default photo mode.

I also found that the battery life wasn’t great, despite the phone being equipped with a massive 6,000 mAh cell.

Although you won’t have much trouble getting through a full day of mixed use, you’ll probably want to charge it every night.

The phone supports 100W fast charging, allowing you to charge it from empty to full in about 36 minutes.

It may look luxurious and clean, but you don’t have to handle it with cotton gloves.

The phone has a variety of AI tools, including Google’s Gemini and Gemini Advanced, Circle to Search and photography tools including an AI unblur function.

AI Unblur works really well, but it can leave photos looking a bit digital and fake, especially if you run the tool multiple times on the same image.

The screen features a wet touch function that helps it remain responsive even with water drops on it.

The phone runs Android 15 at its core.

While the OnePlus 13 is priced $100 less than its competitors, if you’re interested in photography, it’s worth spending the money to get a better camera.
