Police say they were investigating fire at the Jewish Capital Museum site.

Police confirmed that they were investigating the shooting of the Jewish Museum of the capital on Wednesday evening.

A man and a woman was killed, according to ABC News and Fox News.

The American Jewish Committee, which hosted an event in the museum, said that “he destroyed an indescribable violence that had occurred outside the place.”

The organization said: “At this moment, we are waiting for more information from the police about exactly what happened, and our interest and hearts only with those who were harmed and their families.”

US Public Prosecutor Pamela Bondi said she was at the point of shooting and she was “praying for the victims of this violence and we are working to learn more.”
