The shipping train goes into a bus outside Mexico City, killing at least 10 people

The authorities said that the shipping train criticized a two -storey bus in the northwest of Mexico City early on Monday, killing at least 10 people and wounding more than 40.

The accident occurred in an industrial area of ​​warehouses and factories in the town of Atlacomolco, about 130 km northwest of Mexico.

The Civil Defense Agency in the state of Mexico said through X that the authorities are still working at the site of the accident, and the state prosecutor’s office said it had opened an investigation. The bus is torn from the Herradura de Plata line due to the collision.

The agency said that 10 people were killed and 41 were injured. Local media reports said that the injured were transferred to hospitals throughout the state.

The bus company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
