Fighting

  • Russia announced that its forces took control of the town of Korakhov in the Ukrainian Donetsk region. The Russian Defense Ministry said that control of Kurakhov “significantly hampered logistical and technical support” to Ukrainian forces. Korakhov is located 32 kilometers south of Pokrovsk, and is an important Ukrainian logistical center towards which Russia has been advancing for months.
