A Russian court found a guilty photographer with betrayal and imprisoned for 16 years, claiming that he participated in information about underground warehouses in the Soviet era with an American journalist.

On Thursday, the court in West Bayram sentenced Gregory Scuffsv on Thursday after a closed trial, without providing more details about the charges. Skvortsov, which was arrested by the Russian authorities in 2023, denied any violations.

The court said that Skvortsov will be sentenced to the maximum corrective prison camp.
