Police say a 39 -year -old man was detained by the accident in the Sydney suburb of Wallah.

Australian police arrested a 34 -year -old man after driving his car to the front gate of the Russian consulate in Sydney, according to the police and local media.

In a statement, the New South Wales Police Force said that the accident occurred on Monday morning after the officers responded to reports of a “unauthorized vehicle” parked in the consulate corridor in the suburb of Walhara in Sydney.

The statement said that the officers tried to speak with the driver, but “he drove his car to the doors of the property.”

He added that a 24 -year -old policeman was injured during the accident.

Sky News TV shots and nine car were displayed with a deserted shattered window next to the Russian flag.

There was no immediate comment from the Russian consulate.
