Development comes at a time when the IT giant is to restructure its operating power amid the customer’s request, automation, and pushing to become more flexible. In July, Moneycontrol said that TCS planned to give up about 2 percent of its working power, or nearly 12,000 employees, next year.
According to the report, restructuring mainly affects employees whose skills have become excessive or who have not retracted the customer’s requirements.
What includes packages:
It is said that employees in this category are entitled to obtain a three -month notice salaries, followed by a break between six months to two years, depending on the period. According to what was reported, payments go to employees over 15 years old.
For “bench” employees who have not improved for more than eight months, the package is limited to paying a three -month notice. Sources of Monstenol said that employees between the ages of 10-15 years of service in this group may receive about 1.5 years.
The report adds that TCS also provides early retirement options, support professional transition through OutPlacement services, access to mental health programs under “TCS CARES”.
CEO K Krithivasan had previously described the restructuring as “one of the most difficult decisions”, which greatly affects medium and adult employees.
BT cannot independently verify these allegations. The version will be updated if TCS release a response.
