A psychologist recently sparked discussion on social media after she posted a photo on LinkedIn of herself drinking beer from a bottle while breastfeeding her baby. The post, which made its way to the LinkedIn Lunatics community on Reddit, sparked a lively discussion. Many users were divided in their opinions, with some questioning the safety of consuming alcohol while breastfeeding, while others focused on the choice of platform.

Critics argued that LinkedIn, primarily a space for professional networking, was an odd choice for sharing such a personal moment, better suited to platforms like Instagram. The photo and its aftermath quickly became a hot topic of discussion online.

Olga Vlashinska recently shared a decade-old photo from her time in Thailand on LinkedIn, accompanied by her New Year’s resolution: to finally write a book. In the post, she also revealed her plans for her first solo vacation in 12 years, a 14-day break from family life that she described as a rare and much-needed escape.

Reflecting on the past decade, Olga recounts her journey with motherhood in a humorous way, highlighting 18 months of pregnancy and 71 months of breastfeeding. She added: “But the chapter on procreation is closed now. It’s all about intellectual orgy and making it rain banknotes.”

The post sparked discussion online, with one person commenting: “Technically, if you’re going to drink while breastfeeding, the best time is while breastfeeding as it takes time for the alcohol to get into the milk, and it doesn’t.” It does not remain in the bloodstream indefinitely. However, I will not announce it publicly on the job site.”

“Those who don’t have children may not know this, but contrary to what it seems, this woman may be following the safest practice regarding the timing of alcohol consumption. However, she is absolutely crazy for posting this on LinkedIn,” one Reddit user commented.

Another commenter added: “It’s actually a great picture, and anyone who really understands breastfeeding knows this is totally fine. It’s 0.25 or 0.33 liters lighter beer. So it’s completely harmless.”

One user shared his personal experience, saying: “I have two children. I have experience with lactation consultants. “Someone recommended that my wife drink a certain type of beer to produce milk.”

Another commented on the evolving nature of LinkedIn, saying: “There are more and more Instagram posts on LinkedIn now.”
