Investigators are looking for whether the sexual orientation of King of the hill Voice actor Jonathan Jose said a role in his death in Texas, the authorities said on Thursday, and a former statement fell on the potential motivation.
Jose’s husband claimed that the person who killed the actor shouted “neglecting the violent homosexuality” before he opened the fire outside his house in San Antonio on Sunday evening. A day after the shooting, the San Antonio police issued a statement saying that “there is absolutely no evidence indicating that the killing of Mr. Jose is linked to his sexual orientation.”
But during a press conference on Thursday, San Antonio Police Chief William McManos said the statement was “premature” and that whether the first time Jose had played a role in shooting “part of the investigation.”
“I will have it and simply say again that we simply should not do that. It was very early in the process of issuing any of this type,” McManos said.
The police chief said that many in the 2SLGBTQ community “feel anxious and anxious” after the shooting of Jos and that “many of them relate to this early statement.”
“Jonathan Goss’s loss was tragic, and I was felt by the LGBTQ community,” McManos said.

Texas has no separate charges of hate crimes. But if it turns out that homosexuality was a motive in the shooting, this may lead to a more severe punishment in the trial under the state of hatred in the state.
“We collect the facts, and we present these facts to the public prosecutor’s office. Then the determination of the crime of hatred is determined in issuing judgments,” McManos said.
The husband says that Jose had previously harassed
The actor’s house was burned in January. Jose’s husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzalez, said they were checking the mail there on Sunday when he approached a man, pulled a pistol and opened the fire.
In a statement, De Gonzalez said he and Jose had harassed, and many of it “homosexuality”.
Sigfredo Sega Alvarez, a neighbor to Jose, is accused of killing in the shooting. CEJA Alvarez was released on an American bond worth $ 200,000.
CEJA Alvarez’s lawyer, Alfonso Outero, did not immediately repeat an email seeking a comment on Thursday.
McManos said that the police had been summoned to the house of Jos and his neighborhood about 70 times over the past two years regarding “neighborhood type disorders.”
McManos said: “Sometimes (Jose) was the caller. At other times, the neighbors were inviting him,” McManos said.
McManos said that the San Antonio Police’s Mental Health Unit as well as a unit known as Saffe works with the population to help prevent crime “had wide connections with Mr. Jose, which is making repeated efforts to mediate conflicts and linking him to the services he might have needed.”

McManos said that the January fire at Jose’s house was still being reviewed by intentional burning investigators.
He lost all his property in the fire and killed his three dogs.
The actors who worked with Jose, along with friends and fans, honored Jos Memory with a greeting.
“His voice will be missed in King of the hillAnd we expand the deepest condolences of our friends and family in Jonathan, “The creators of the exhibition and its producers – Mike Gadge, Greg Daniels and Sladen Patterson – said in a statement on the Instagram page of the animated series.
