Palm Springs, California, was investigating a car explosion on Saturday morning, killing one person and damaging the fertility clinic.

The explosion occurred at 11:00 local time (19:00 GMT) less than a mile from the center of Palm Springs, near many companies including American reproductive centers.

In a statement, the fertility clinic said that no one was harmed by his facility, but one person was killed and many of them were injured.

Palm Springs police confirmed the death and described the accident as a “intentional violence”, but it did not issue more details.

California Governor Gavin New Roosom said in a statement that the state is coordinating with the local and federal authorities to respond to the incident.

The US reproductive centers in Palm Springs said that the car explosion occurred in the car park near the building.

It is not clear the cause of the explosion.

Lieutenant Mike Feljas told Palm Springs to reporters on Saturday afternoon that the accident appeared “intended”, but he said he was still an active investigation.

The American lawyer in the Central Province in California, Bill Essles, said in a publication on the X that the Ministry of Justice “is aware of the explosion that took place this morning in Palm Springs.”

He added that the FBI was also at the scene and investigating whether “this was an intended act.”

The fertility clinic said that their laboratory, including all eggs and fetuses, is still “completely safe and not affected.

The fertility clinic said in its statement: “We are largely conducting a fully inspection of safety, and we confirmed that our sensitive medical operations and areas were not affected by the explosion.”

However, Dr. Maher Abdullah, who runs the clinic, told the Associated Press that the clinic office was damaged.

“I have no idea what happened,” he said. “Thank God today, it happened that a day we do not have sickness.”

According to its website, the American Reproductive Centers Clinic is the first fully fertile center for services and in the laboratory fertilization laboratory (IVF) in Kochilla Valley.

It provides services such as fertility assessments, IVF, egg donation and freezing, and reproductive support for couples of the same sex and diseases.
