The pilot is expelled from a Ukraine fighter plane after the accident, says air

The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement that Ukraine lost a F-16 fighter plane on Friday morning after an accident on it, although the pilot went out safely.

“According to the initial data … an extraordinary situation arose on the plane. The pilot moved the plane away from the settlement and successfully removed.”

The Air Force said the pilot was fine.

He pointed out that the accident does not seem to be the result of the Russian fire and a committee was appointed to investigate all the circumstances of the accident.

The second accident involves F-16

The incident is the second that involves F-16 since Kyiv started receiving combat aircraft from American allies last year as part of a program approved by the administration of former US President Joe Biden.

In late August 2024, The F-16 plane crashed and its pilot died While repelling a large Russian air strike.

Ukraine does not reveal the number of planes it received.
