The Pentagon President pushes the Asian allies to raise defense spending in the face of the “threat” of China

The Pentagon President called the Higseth House of our allies in the Asia Pacific region to enhance their defensive spending in the face of what he described as the “imminent” threat posed by China. Speaking at the Shangri -La Dialogue Summit in Singapore, Higseth said the United States “is here to remain” in the region.
