The heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms in the early morning disrupted the air traffic in Delhi on Friday, which raised the frustration between passengers, including the person who moved to the X social media platform to vent from a two -hour delay in the Indian flight.
“Each journey @ @aarindia is late for 1-2 hours-respect for the time of passengers. There is no improvement, no accountability. It is shameful to compare ourselves to Pakistan instead of China, which is 100 years away from us,” the passenger wrote in a publication. In another follow -up, the user added, “The tragedy is non -recovered tickets and there is no compensation for wasting the time of passengers.”
Air India replied to the complaint on X, saying: “Dear Mr. Rana, the flight is late due to the opposite weather conditions in Delhi. Please make sure that the safety of our passengers is still a greater priority. We are sincerely able to make your patience and understanding.”
The DIAL International Airport (DIAL) also issued a statement confirming the delay caused by the weather: “Because of the stormy weather conditions and thunderstorms in Delhi, some flights were affected at Delhi Airport.
In a later update, Dial said: “The thunderstorm has passed. However, there is some effect on flight operations due to harmful weather conditions. All stakeholders are working together to ensure a smooth and effective passenger experience.”
The weather, while a break from the repressive Delhi heat provides water -vanishing on a large scale, fallen trees, and the disorders of air and land transport via NCR. Dial and Air India advised travelers to verify directly from airlines for aviation updates in the actual time.
