The paramedics say that more than ten children in the Darfur camp died due to lack of food

Thirteen children died last month as a result of the severe food shortage in a displacement camp in the war of the war, the paramedic said.

The Sudan Medical Network, a professional organization that includes members working inside the Lagawa camp, said “the deterioration of humanitarian conditions” and widespread malnutrition – a hunger crisis caused by the 27 -month civil war that destroyed the country.

On Tuesday, in a statement regarding the Lagawa camp, the Sudan Doctors Network wrote: “The network invites the international community and humanitarian organizations to act immediately to provide food and basic health care for the camp residents, especially children and pregnant women.”

Al -Din is the capital of East Darfur, a country fully controlled by the RSF, which fights the army.

Now in its third year, the civil war has disrupted humanitarian networks, the economy collapsed and social services have collapsed. These factors, and more, led to the food crisis.

Sudan was immersed in a civil war in April 2023 after the outbreak of an evil struggle for power between its army and RSF.
