Harb, whose real name was Mahmoud Khadr Abed Adra, was one of the most expensive men in France and was the subject of an international arrest warrant over the past ten years.

The 70 -year -old suspected of leading five other attackers in the arms attack on the restaurant, which was considered the most anti -Semitic attack in France since World War II.

The attack, which was blamed on a Palestinian organization Abu Nidal, began in the middle of the day when a hand grenade was thrown at the dining room by the attackers who entered the restaurant after that and opened the fire with the forms of Polish -made machine guns.

Harb suspected that the attack was also overlooked and also being one of the gunmen who opened fire for dinner and passers -by.

He was officially charged by French judges in July for murder and tried to kill in the attack. Harb and five other men in the case have been referred to the trial.

Another suspect, Abu Zayed, 66, a Norwegian of Palestinian origin, has been in French reservation since his delivery in 2020 from Norway. He denied the charges.

Bruno Ginden and Roman Ruiz, Zayed’s lawyer, sees the arrest of his alleged partner as evidence that “the investigation was not completed.”
