I have been using CMF wireless buds in the CMF budget in the past two weeks, and I didn’t know frankly what to expect. Sometimes you really get what you pay for (see: this A pair of earphones in the size of the pocket, frankly I reviewed from JLABS) and sometimes the cheapest option is in the best reality (see: Nothing (a) wireless ear headphones). Because of this contrast, I came to the trio of CMF wireless buds with an open mind, but in the end, I was surprised by what I found.
As a test, I listened to the same song (“Shallow” bloody Valentine’s Day) With each pair, successive, and in the same conditions-a somewhat quiet area from the Gizmodo office. Starting from the first rank with the upper pair, The Buds 2 Plus, I worked on my way down until I press Buds 2A.

So let’s start from the top: CMF Buds 2 Plus It looks great. There is a dynamic range, noise cancellation, although it is not a world -class, is solid enough to move your metro (an environment also experienced the three buds). Frankly, I think they are almost cute like anything from the ear (A), which may be my favorite pair of wireless ear headphones for value and design. All in all, I am a fan of CMF Buds 2 Plus. I will not choose them as a “daily driver”, if it is permissible to speak, just because I love the ceramic driver at wireless ear headphones, nothing more and its transparent design, but if I am forced to use it, I will not be angry at the quality.
After that, I tried CMF 2 budsThe middle child, who, although it is nice, did not sing just like The Buds 2 Plus. They are doing a good job on an equal basis in the simulation of the brightness, but they are definitely more pleasant compared to their distinguished counterparts. ANC, as I thought, was based on the level of noise canceling the cmF specifications, such as 2 Plus, which is great, but if you are looking for the highest accuracy, 2 Plus wins this tour.
Then there is the child –CMF 2A buds. This is where I noticed the biggest decrease. Although the price is very friendly, these buds appear largely out of the squad and achieve the lowest level of noise cancellation. It was difficult to note when I was tested wirelessly and randomly in my morning transportation, but I am not a big admirer of the dynamic range or the noise cancellation of the 2A buds. I would like to say that you get what you pay for, but these buds now cost the same thing as Buds 2, and the medium pair of leaps and better limits.
Therefore, these are non -scientific conclusions. In this case, The Buds 2 Plus justifies the excellent price, and although Buds 2 is serviceable, it definitely does not provide the same quality. You can forget everything about Buds 2A because they do not provide anywhere near Buds 2 sound, which is now The same curse price. But just to make sure that I did not leave the price knowledge of my appreciation, I had a blind test to see if I could hear the difference really, and most of my impressions remained the same.
In the blindfolded listening test, I managed to properly identify the three different wireless buds six times in a row on two different patterns of songs (rock and hip hop music), although there are some frequencies where it is difficult to notice the difference, such as more “cinematic” with less frequencies to track them. Buds 2A is a dead gift with its almost hollow loud voice, and Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus is difficult to distinguish between them but still have enough things in most types – usually Buds 2 Plus has a better plate and a complete voice.
Although I do not like to be upsold on anything, and sometimes in this world, you get what you pay for, and CMF wireless earphones are not different. My advice is, if you can withstand a $ 20 installment on Buds 2 and Buds 2A, you must pay it – get Buds 2 Plus. There is no big difference from an ANC perspective, but of absolute sound quality, Buds 2 Plus earns its excellent name, and they are still (if we are in the spirit of comparison) the cheapest $ 50 of the ear nothing and the cheapest $ 10 of ear (a).
