Speaking of CEO Podcasts, MO GAWDAT, the former Google X chief business official, warned that artificial intelligence (AGI) could soon surpass humans in almost all professions – including those who are considered safe, such as programmers, executives and creators.

“Unless you are at the top of 0.1 %, you are a peasant,” said Guudat. “AGI will be better in everything than humans, even being the CEO.”

He described the following 15 years as a turbulent modification stage. He said: “The next fifteen years will be hell before we reach heaven,” a warning against the collapse in the economic and social structures that support the middle class if the effect of automation is not determined.

Depending on a personal experience, Gawdat shared how AI – which focuses on building emotionally smart systems – focuses with only three people. A few years ago, he said that this same process needed 300.

Jawat’s fears are in line with those expressed by other artificial intelligence leaders. Jeffrey Hinton, who was called “the gods of artificial intelligence”, recently warned that advanced models have evolved in their own internal language, making it difficult to control. “If they start thinking about their own language, we may not even know what they think about,” Hinton pointed out.

Beyond job losses, Ghudat expects a deeper societal crisis. He pointed to the high risks of unity, loss of identity and retreating mental health, as people find themselves displaced. He warned “a lot of social disorders.”

While artificial intelligence is gains in efficiency, Gawdat emphasized that without handrails – such as organization, social safety networks, or new economic frameworks – technology can destabilize the entire societies and expand income inequality.
