CES is known for Splashed TV and Launch the laptopBut in 2025, there are quite a few companies trying to make waves with robotic vacuum cleaners as well. After years where it seemed that vacuuming, mopping and self-emptying might be the pinnacle of robot vacuum capabilities, this year’s show introduced home robots with all-new functions — and attachments.
Here are the robot vacuums that caught our attention Consumer Electronics Show 2025which you can invite to clean your living room later this year.
Roborock Saros Z70
Roborock’s flagship vacuum for 2025 is Roborock Saros Z70a robot vacuum that is circular on the outside, hides a retractable “OmniGrip” arm that can pick up and move objects on the inside. The arm is capable of five-axis movement and is only able to hold around 300g, making it better at moving clothes and cables than anything really heavy. Roborock claims that the Saros Z70’s precise sensors, LEDs and camera will be able to identify 108 objects that it can move or avoid, with the ability to learn up to 50 custom objects as well.
The only missing pieces are the price and launch date. Roborock plans to start selling the Roborock Saros Z70 later this year, but has not announced the price of the new robot. It may turn out that robotic arms aren’t cheap.
Dream X50 Ultra
Dreame is one of Roborock’s competitors, and it has its own new robot vacuum at CES. instead of the arm, Dream X50 Ultra It has small wheeled legs for climbing (shallow) stairs. Dreame calls the feature the “ProLeap System” and currently says the X50 Ultra can handle stairs up to 6cm (about 2.4 inches) high. That’s much shorter than the average household staircase, but it still means the Dreame robot vacuum can reach places competitors can’t.
The Dreame X50 Ultra is available to reserve now for $39, which nets you $1,310 less and includes a longer warranty and free accessories. The robotic vacuum cleaner will officially go on sale on February 4 for $1,700.
Juve E20
Robotic vacuums are convenient, but they’re not yet good at reaching every corner of your home, which usually means you also have to own some sort of handheld vacuum. the Juve E20 This can remove the two-blank puzzle. It’s a 3-in-1 robot vacuum that you can program to clean your home yourself, or take out its vacuum component and use it as a stick or handheld vacuum for hard-to-reach places.
The goal is to have one vacuum that can adapt to all your needs, while still offering the benefits of a robot vacuum, such as a base station for automatic debris disposal. It looks like Eufy may have nailed it, and at a relatively reasonable price too. The Eufy 3-in-1 E20 will be available on February 10, starting at $550, with all its accessories.
Switchbot K20+ Pro
Swithcbot is best known for its smart home accessories like robotic curtain motors and pushers, but the company has also been offering its own affordable robot vacuum for the past few years. the Switchbot K20+ Pro It’s the latest model, but it’s also a completely new way to combine Switchbot products you may already own.
The K20+ Pro looks a bit like a regular robot vacuum, only with a rotating platform mounted on top. It can hold up to 18 pounds and you can attach the Switchbot’s air purifier, security camera, or fan to the top and have a vacuum that doubles as more than a general household robot. Switchbot says it’s also designed to be easy to modify if you want to create your own weird attachment to advance to the top. Sure, the K20+ Pro is goofy and smart, but it still has a lot of unknowns. There’s no price or release date yet later this year. Switchbot plans to sell the K20+ Pro individually and in bundles with some compatible accessories.
Dreame retractable arm model
Roborock wasn’t the only one to show off its arm robot vacuum. Unnamed Dreame prototype The robot vacuum isn’t off-the-shelf, but it does include its own claw arm for grabbing things, and wheeled “legs” for getting over ledges like the Dreame X50 Ultra.
It’s not clear when this prototype will become a real product or how much it will cost when it does, but it serves as a good example that if Roborock can produce the Saros Z70, others will surely follow.
