Job candidates are lost in a flood of requests such as Amnesty International SuperCharges EmploymentSo the employment of Greenhouse is trying to get a new tool for job seekers borrowing from an unlikely source: dating applications.

Dating platforms such as Tinder, Bumble and Hinge provide users with a limited number of “super sweets” or “roses” that they can provide to the potential love interests. It is automatically photographed to the upper part of the recipient’s summary, making it more likely to see the sender’s profile.

The Greenhouse feature works in a similar way – users can set one monthly request to a “dream function”, which says the greenhouse that makes their application more clear to the employment company’s employment team. The feature also allows candidates to fill their profile in a more complete way than users who do not use the feature.

John Strauss, president and co -founder of Greenhous says luck. “On the other hand, employers can focus on candidates who want their positions more than others.”

More than 1,200 companies have subscribed to the Greenhouse platform to use the feature so far, including Everland, Flexport and guild. The company says that about 7,000 candidates have benefited from them. People who used the “Dream Job” feature get a new role within 20.5 days on average, compared to an average of 35 to 50 days for people who do not do so, according to the company. The feature is free to use.

Only time will determine how the “Dream function” will come out in Greenhouse. But it is a great example of how to force the different freezing scene on companies to rethink how to do business. While the job market becomes more and more, we will likely see other organizations looking for new ways to take off through a flood of CVs.
