The new Blue Origin rocket, Glenn, takes off on its first flight

Jeff Bezos Original Blue The New Glenn rocket successfully lifted off from Florida early Thursday after its first launch attempt on Wednesday was canceled.

This trip is Bezos’ attempt to reach the private sector Space race. A successful launch could open up competition for Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

New Glenn began its first-ever ascent toward the stars on Thursday morning, and Blue Origin said the main goal of the maiden flight was simply to reach orbit.
