The Israeli and Hamas negotiators were meeting in Cairo on October 5, to hold talks to end nearly two years of war in Gaza. France 24 Nougat Tarnopolski tells us more. She said, “The talks will start tomorrow, and it is not clear what they will talk about exactly,” she said. “For anyone, because Israel has announced that the only topic they want to discuss is to launch hostages (…) but there are many other topics, and many, I would like to say, the contradictions between the demands that the two sides make separately.”
