the Ministry of Justice An investigation into the Portland Police Office’s “doubtful” practices is launched amid charges of the Trump administration that the force has acted with bias during the fighting protests for weeks.

Harit Delon, Assistant Prosecutor of Civil Rights, announced on Friday, citing orders from US Prosecutor Bam Bondi.

In a letter dated Friday to the lawyer of Portland, Robert Taylor and Police Chief Bob Day, Delon referred to concerns about the police’s response to many incidents, including the arrest of a governor and police journalist who is claiming to limit the use of United States and customs migration (ICE) to its face in Portland.

Dhillon Office requests non -stored accident reports related to the use of force, arrests and other procedures, as well as contacts related to the directions provided to Police officers Responding to the protests in ICE facilities over the past thirty days.

Dhillon requested that her office be provided with materials no later than October 10.

The city received the investigation while its lawyers were at an attempt to stop the deployment of the National Guard to help protect federal property.

The ICE director says that the Portland facility is facing violence with “little assistance from the local police.”

“We are still reviewing this investigation and we have no comment at this time on specific requests made by the federal government,” the city said in a statement submitted to Fox News Digitter. “What we can say is: The Mayor Wilson has fully confidence in the commitment of Portland Police Office to protect public safety, support the rights of all individuals in assembly legally, and law enforcement.”

Portland has witnessed night protests against immigration enforcement measures in the Trump administration. Some have turned into chaos, as the demonstrators clashed with the authorities.

The review comes after conservative journalist Nick Sortor detention late Thursday night while documenting the protests in Portland – anything that Levit described as “a very disturbing accident.” She said that the Ministry of Justice spoke with trousers on Friday and “will make a full investigation into his arrest.”

“This incident is part of a disturbing direction in Portland, where the left -wing mobs believe that they will decide who can visit and live in their city. It is not their city; it is the city of the American people, and President Trump will restore this,” Levitte said. “I just talked to the president about this, and his team was directed here at the White House to start reviewing the aid that could be cut to Portland. We will not fund the states that allow chaos.”
