Two Palestinians, one of whom were a dual American citizen, were killed in an attack by Israeli settlers in a town in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Israeli army said that the stones were thrown to the Israelis near Single and that “a violent confrontation developed in the region.”

He added that the security forces were discussing reports that he was killing one Palestinians, and that the incident that participated in the second was under review.

There has been an increase in violence in the West Bank since Hamas’s attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which sparked the war in Gaza.

The United Nations says that at least 910 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank, 13 by Israeli settlers, and seven others by Israeli forces or settlers. At least 44 Israelis were killed in Palestinian attacks in Israel and the West Bank.

The Palestinian ministry said that Saifallah Musalit, a 23 -year -old American citizen from Florida, was killed during the accident on Friday evening in Single.

He added that the second man, Muhammad Al -Shalabi, 23, died after he was shot in his chest.

The US State Department said that it is “familiar with reports of the death of an American citizen in the West Bank,” and that he had no other comment “respect for the privacy of the family.”

Saif Allah Musalit, a businessman whose name was Saif, traveled from his home in Tampa to the West Bank on June 4, according to his family.

A statement claims that “he was brutally beaten to death by Israeli settlers while he was protecting his family’s land from the settlers who were trying to steal it.”

“Israeli settlers surrounded a sword for more than three hours, as the paramedics tried to reach it, but mobilizing the settlers prevented the ambulance and paramedics from providing life -saving assistance.”

“After clearing the mob from the Israeli settlers, Saif’s younger brother rushed to carry his brother to the ambulance. Saif died before arriving at the hospital.”

The statement added: “We ask the US State Department to lead an immediate investigation and bear the Israeli settlers who killed Saif responsible for their crimes.”

The official Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that Muhammad Al -Shalabi was from the town of Al -Maazra Sharjah, South Single.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health was martyred as saying that he was shot in his chest by the settlers, during the same attack in which Saif Allah was killed.

He added that he had been bleeding for hours before the paramedics could reach him.

WAFA reported 10 other Palestinians from Singles and the surrounding areas who were injured in clashes with settlers who were armed with automatic rifles.

The Israeli army said in a statement on Friday evening that “the terrorists threw rocks on Israeli civilians adjacent to Sinjel,” which resulted in the injury of two of them.

“A violent confrontation has evolved in the region that involves the Palestinians and the Israeli civilians, which included sabotaging Palestinian property, intentional burning, physical clashes, and ejaculation of rocks.”

The army said that the soldiers, the police and the paramilitary police forces had been sent to the area and “used a rioting dispersion method in response to the violent confrontation.”

He added that “he was aware of reports related to the killing of a Palestinian civilian and a number of injured Palestinians as a result of the confrontation,” and that they were considered by the Shane security service, the bet and the Israeli police.

When BBC was asked on Saturday about a response to reports that a second Palestinian was killed, the army said: “The situation is under review.”

Separately, the American embassy in Jerusalem said it condemns the recent violence by Israeli settlers against the Christian city of Taibi in the West Bank.

Most of the lands there are owned by Palestinian Americans, and according to the local population, about 300 people who are passports in the United States.

Automated men were attacked by masked men burning cars and attacking homes, which rose. On Monday, settlers set fire to the fields near the Fifth Century Church, which led to an invitation to take international measures from the city’s priests.

In response, the Foreign Ministry said that it had no priority than the safety and security of American citizens abroad and that protecting Christians was a priority for President Donald Trump.

Israel has built about 160 settlements, including about 700,000 Jews since it occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem – the Palestinians want lands, along with Gaza, for a vibrant future state – during the Middle East war in 1967. It is estimated at 3.3 million Palestinians living alongside them.

The settlements are illegal under international law – a position supported by an advisory opinion in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) last year – although Israel opposes this.

There was a sharp increase in the number and intensity of settlers’ attacks in the West Bank during the same period. The United Nations says that there are 136 attacks by settlers, which led to victims or property damage in May alone.

On Thursday, a 22 -year -old Israeli security guard was shot, Shaff Zulouni, when two Palestinian men opened fire and tried to stab passerby at the parking lot at the shopping center in the Gush Etek Tzi settlement bloc, in the southern West Bank.

The police said the attackers had died by the soldiers and the armed civilians present at the scene.
