The last hospital in northern Gaza province was evacuated after the Israeli order

The director of the facility said that the last hospital provides health services in the North Gaza Governorate outside the service after the Israeli army ordered the immediate evacuation.

Dr. Mohamed Salha told that the BBC patients had been evacuated from Al -Oda Hospital in Gabalia Thursday evening after “two weeks of siege”, and there was now no “health facility working in the north.”

In a voice note to the BBC, Dr. Sala said: “We are really sad because we have evacuated the hospital, but the Israeli occupation forces threatened us that if we do not sit, they will enter and kill those inside.

“Or they were bombing the hospital. We were thinking about the lives of patients and our staff.”

Dr. Salha said that the hospital faced “a lot of bombing and shooting from tanks” from around the back of local time (09:00 GMT) on Thursday.

He received a call from the Israeli forces at approximately 13:00 to evacuate, and initially refused because there are patients who need health care. He said he offered to stay with 10 of its employees and evacuate others, but the army refused.

After seven hours of negotiations, the evacuation occurred around 20:30.

Patient employees carried more than 300 meters (984 feet) to the ambulances that were stopped from the hospital because the surrounding roads were “completely destroyed”.

Israel said it imposed the siege on Gaza to pressure Hamas to release the remaining hostages, at least it is believed that 20 of them are alive. Hamas also accused of stealing aid, which the group denies.

On Friday, the United Nations condemned the looting of large quantities of medical aid at a field hospital in central Gaza.
