On Tuesday, a US federal judge prevented President Donald Trump’s administration from using the army to combat crime in California, even when the Republican President threatens to send forces to more American cities, including Chicago.

Trump said at a press conference on Tuesday that Los Angeles had regained the regime in the city and that he intends to send the army to more cities.
“Chicago is now hell. Baltimore is now hell,” Trump said. “We have the right to do this because I have a commitment to protect this country.”
Chicago has long enjoyed high levels of violence with firearms, but the crime, including the killing, had decreased last year. The city has had 84 murders so far this year – the lowest number of 50 years, according to the Chicago Brandon Johnson.
In July, the Baltimore Police Administration said there was a double decline in armed violence compared to the previous year.
During the weekend, Johnson said that the Chicago police will not cooperate with any National Guard forces or federal agents if Trump deployed them to the city in the coming days.
After Trump’s comments, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said that the administration is publishing the National Guard in Texas Publishing in Illinois, as well as ICE federal agents, customs, borders, Ministry of Internal Security and other agencies.

“But to use this as a kidnapper to send the military forces alongside federal agents wherever they go, it will prove a lot and will thwart the purpose of the Posse Comitaus law.”
“Very impressive” decision
The deployment of Los Angeles sparked a wide condemnation of the Democrats, who said Trump was using the army to strangle the strict immigration policies.
“The California people won the accountability of Trump’s illegal militarization for an American city!” California Governor Gavin New Roosom, a prominent democracy, filed the lawsuit on Tuesday.
The ruling does not link other judges but it can design how other courts explain the law, which is rarely interpreted by the courts.
“It will be very influential on any challenges in other cities,” said Brenner Vesel, a professor at Charles Widgeger College of Law at the University of Villanova. “If the judge does not agree with this, he will have to explain the reason.”
Trump also deployed the National Guard in Washington, DC, a federal area where Trump has an exceptional authority.
Crime rates were martyred to justify the need for federal forces. Washington and Chicago, like many places throughout the United States, faced crime mutations in the wake of the epidemic, but the crime in the direction of a decline in both cities.

The administration still has about 300 National Guard in Los Angeles when the trial took place, although the protests have long faded. The forces were used for security during raids on marijuana farms outside the city and as a force to deter the protests in a popular garden during an operation by immigration agents, according to the evidence that was shown in the trial.
The Trump administration said that the forces will remain in Los Angeles at least to November.
