The IFRS Foundation has unveiled the new e -learning units to help organizations understand the standards set by the International Sustainability Standards Council (ISSB).
Units deal with basic topics, including general requirements for international standards for S1 standards to detect financial information related to sustainability and disclosure related to the international standard of sustainability.
The content consists of four self -guided units, and features a mixture of written and visual materials as well as interactive knowledge assessments.
The units include an introduction to the criteria for detecting the sustainability of international standards for the preparation of financial reports; Introduction to general disclosure related to international standard sustainability for international standards of replacement standards; Introduction to the disclosures related to the IFRS S2, integrated sustainability and organizational considerations.
These units focus on different elements of sustainability and organizational considerations.
Upon completion of each unit, users can choose a short multi -options evaluation to earn a completion certificate.
Access to e -learning units is free for individuals with an IFRS.ORG account.
It works as an introductory resource for organizations that prepare for sustainability and other stakeholders who are keen on ISSB standards.
The Foundation said that the launch of these units is part of its initiative to facilitate global adoption and implement ISSB standards.
This initiative deals with the increasing demand in the market on practical resources to report sustainability.
