The huge basin screams part of the Bangkok road, forcing the evacuation in the capital of Thailand

Bangkok – A huge sink basin swallowed part of a major road in Bangkok on Wednesday, which resulted in the disruption of traffic, destroying the infrastructure and evacuation in the surrounding area.

Regional ruler Chadshart Stepon said that there were no victims, but three vehicles were damaged by the collapse.

Videos for collapse show a section of the road slowly drowning, and withdrawing many electricity poles and harmful water pipes. The cars tried to retreat when the hole grew larger and cut the road consisting of four lanes completely. One of the edge of the hole stopped in front of a police station, and its structure was revealed under the ground.

People were evacuated from the police station and other buildings. A relative hospital said that he would close outpatient services for two days, although Bangkok officials said the hospital structure was not affected.

Officials cut off electricity and water in the area as a preventive measure. Chadchart said that the crews were working to repair the opening as soon as possible, for fear of heavy rains from causing more damage. Bangkok is witnessing its rainy season, which usually extends from May to October.

Emergency workers have used a largely harnessing crane to remove the Beck App truck that was left to float on the edge of the abyss, and another truck can be seen at least inside the opening of approximately 160 feet.

Noppadech Pitpet, a 27 -year -old hospital who lives nearby, told AFP that he was afraid of the roar voice on Wednesday morning, which he woke up.

“The sound like the electric pole was collapsing and shook the entire apartment,” he told AFP.
