The Houthi -running Ministry of Health says of Israeli strikes on the capital of Yemen

The Iranian -backed Houthi rebels said that the Israeli air strikes hit multiple areas across the capital of Yemen on Sunday.

According to the Houthi Ministry of Health, at least two people were killed and 35 were wounded.

Nasruddin Amer, Vice -President of the Houthi Information Office, claimed that the latest air strikes will not deter the rebels and pledged to continue the attacks on Israel.

He wrote on social media: “Our military operations that support Gaza will not stop, and God wants, unless the aggression is stopped, and the siege is lifted.”

The Israeli strikes were the first to hit Yemen a week ago, when Israel said it had targeted the energy infrastructure that it believed was used by the rebels.
