The former CEO of Estée Lauder, Leonard Lauder, died at the age of 92, according to the company’s statement.
Lauder, who was the son of the company’s founder, Este Lauder, died on Saturday. He recently held the position of an honorary chairman on the board of directors of Estée Lauder companies, after he previously served as president and executive director.
William B. Lauder in a statement, “Throughout his life, my father worked tirelessly to build and transform the cosmetic industry, and the pioneer in many innovations, trends and best practices that are an industry institution today.”
