The head of the Israeli local intelligence service said on Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempt to shoot him followed his refusal to fulfill the requests that included spying on Israeli demonstrators and disrupting the corruption trial of the leader.

In a written statement submitted to the Supreme Court, the President of Shin Beit, Ronin Bar, said that the move of Nitrano to his refuser was not based on professional reasons, but was driven by the expectations of the prime minister’s personal loyalty.

In response, Netanyahu’s office rejected the written testimony, which he said was “full of lies.”

Netanyahu attempted to hold protests in Israel and their suspension by the Supreme Court, after political observers and opposition members argued that the separation was illegal.

Critics say that the Israeli government is undermining the main state institutions and displaying the foundations of democracy in the country. Netanyahu Bar was accused of acting against the Prime Minister and turning parts of the Shen -betting service into a “special militia for the deep state”.

The government of Israel has supported Netanyahu, who said he lost confidence in a bar due to the failure of the agency to prevent Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, a security failure that led to a bloody day in the country.

But in the non -ranked part of his fascination, Bar argued that seeking to topple him began more than a year after the attack. He was martyred in a series of events between November 2024 and February 2025, which he said seemed to have pushed the Prime Minister’s movements against him.

These investigations in Shin included a bet on leaks of the secret army documents to the media and the potential links between Netanyahu and Qatar assistants, and the investigation of Al -Shin’s bet in her failures, which also indicated the government ignoring warnings before the October 7 attack and the policy that preceded it.

Bar also said that he refused to sign a security request aimed at preventing the continuous certificate by Netanyahu in the trial of corruption. Netanyahu, who denies any violations, began to testify in the long court case in December. His office denied that he asked for a postponement.

Bar was also martyred by what he described as the demands that are not coated by Netanyahu to serve the intelligence service to act against anti -government demonstrators.

Netanyahu’s office said that Bar’s sin confirmed that it was “miserably failure” on October 7. “This reason alone requires ending his position.”

He also denied that the transition to Saack Bar was aimed at thwarting the investigation called “QATARGATE” in the allegations of financial relations between Qatar and Netanyahu assistants.

“The separation was not intended to prevent the investigation. Instead, the investigation was intended to prevent the separation,” she said.

Before Bar, Shin Bet failed to prevent the October 7 attack, and said he would step down before the end of his term.

The Supreme Court, after hearing arguments on April 8 by the opposition control bodies and legislators who said that the dismissal of Bar had violated the due legal procedures and was contaminated with conflicts of interests, has not yet ruled in the case.
