The authorities say that a Guatemali citizen works under a pseudonym that was found dead inside an industrial oven at a grain factory in Missouri last week.
Nicholas Lopez Gomez, 38, who was working under the name Edward Avila, was located by officers, emergency medical services and firefighters, The Perville Police Department said.
The officers were sent to the Gilster-Mary Lee Perryville Factory for the grain of a man “stuck in an industrial oven closed,” the police said. By the time they reached Gomez, he had already died.
The Berry Provincial Investigator was summoned shortly after to help.

“OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) has been contacted regarding this incident and will be achieved,” Megan Ellis, Berry Province, said in a statement. “Our offices will work with them to determine how this happens.”

Its website says Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation runs 11 sites across three states in the Middle West. The company has been operating for 125 years, as it manufactures “safe and quality food products” that are sold under special posters and food services companies.
