Former President of Nigeria, former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Bouhary, who died at the age of 82 at the London Clinic on Sunday, will be transferred to the house for his burial in his hometown in Katsina.

Katsina Deco Radda, who returned to Nigeria on Monday morning after he was with the Bouhaari family in London, said that Bouhaari would be buried in the city of Dura, 50 miles (80 km) from Katsina on Tuesday.

Vice President of Nigeria Cashim Chitima in London and will accompany the remains of Bohari to Nigeria.

“Based on my discussions with the family and the close people who are with the corpse, preparations are continuing to return the body to Nigeria,” said Rada.

He added: “What I collected so far is that the body will arrive at 12 pm tomorrow (Tuesday) and the burial will occur by 2 pm.”

He said that the burial, which was expected initially on Monday, was late to allow more people to attend.

Bouhari’s house is already filled with mourners, where friends, family and families are waiting for his body.

The Vice President also confirmed that Dura is the place of the final comfort of Bouhari in a social media post after his arrival in London on Monday morning.

He said that Bouhaari died after a short illness without revealing any other details, but the former president suffered from bad health for many years.

Although he is a former president, there will be no government funeral. In line with Islamic teachings, Bouhari will be buried as quickly as possible at a simple party.

A greeting continued to flow for the late army general who led Nigeria twice – first as a military leader and elected president after he became the first opposition leader to defeat the job operator, in 2015.

Former President Jodlock Jonathan, who was defeated by Bouhary in 2015, described the late leader as a person “was self -denial in his commitment to his duty and serving the country with a personality and a deep feeling of patriotism.”

The former military ruler, General Ibrahim Babanjaida, who toppled Bouhaari in a 1985 coup, shower the praise over the eighty.

“He is a man, even in retirement, has remained an ethical compass for many, and an example of humility in public life,” Babangva said.

President Paula Ahmed Tenobo, who is expected to attend the funeral prayer in Dura, announced the national mourning period for a period of seven days in honor of his predecessor.

In an official condolence statement issued on Sunday evening, Tenobo said that the nation will take its final respect for the former leader in dignity and honor, starting from lowering all national flags to half of the mast across the country from Sunday.
