The former midfielder in Liverpool and England announces 37 -year -old retirement

Former midfielder Liverpool and England Adam Lallana announced his retirement after his 19 -year career.

The 37 -year -old, who won 34 from England, and a member of the 2014 World Cup, presented 14 Premier League games in Southampton last season, and was also part of the training team during the conference president Simon Rosk.

After achieving his name in the saints, helping the club to promote the championship, he joined Liverpool in 2014 for 25 million pounds and won the Premier League title and Champions League in six years in Anfield.

Lallana moved to Brighton in 2020 before returning to Southampton after four years.

I wrote on Instagram this morning: “When I call time in my career, I do so with a great feeling of gratitude and pride.

“I cannot be more appreciated for the opportunities I got and the support I received along the way.

“You owe many on a journey like this – it is impossible to name everyone, but for all these please know how long I have been. I could not do this without you.

“It is crazy to think that all this started in the last millennium, when I signed the academy in 1999. Since its first appearance in 2006, I realized that I have been blessed to live the dream that millions of people share.”

“I owe everything to Southampton.”

He continued:

“Liverpool … the opportunity to represent one of the world’s greatest clubs and win some of the biggest awards in the game.

“Brighton … is home to some of the happiest years of my life, in a club deeply linked to his community and runs in a smart and modern way.

And England … every one cover means the world for me. It represents my greatest honor.

“I am proud of the playing profession that I have and I have no remorse for any of them. I embrace all the high levels and all its lowest levels because it constitutes me who I am.

“For everyone who made the journey very special, employees in every club and organizer, managers and coaches, my teammates, and of course supporters – thank you.”
