The former assistant to the extreme right -wing German politician is imprisoned for spying for China

One of the assistants who worked with a prominent member of the AFD party was granted in the far right in Germany a four -year prison sentence and nine months to spy China.

Jian Qouh worked in Brussels for Maximilian Kra, a member of the European Parliament for five years until last year. Cra is now a deputy in the German parliament.

The court in Dresden in East Germany heard how the previous Kara assistants gathered information and transferring secret documents to the Chinese authorities between 2019 and 2024.

Jian Qouh maintained his innocence, and insisted that he had not worked in Chinese intelligence, and Cra told the court last month that he learned only the allegations against his former media employee.
