A politician in Finland died in the country’s main parliament building in the capital, Helsinki.

Local media reported that Emily Biltonn, 30, who was the deputy of the Social Democratic Party, believed that he took his private life in the building and was found on Tuesday morning.

His sudden death was shocked by Finland, as politicians from all parties expressed their grief.

In late June, Biltonn posted his novels on social media that he was “far from a lot of parliamentary work in the past weeks” because he had a “kidney problem” that led to an infection.

“I have already been discharged from the hospital, but because of the situation I am on a satisfactory leave in the summer and I am now completely focusing on recovery from the disease,” he wrote.
