The Federal Workers Union suits to stop the DOGE activity in CFPB

Union representing federal workers submitted a pair of lawsuits against the director of the Financial Protection Office for consumers, Russell Fair, and asked the court to announce the recent procedures by illegal and prevention Ministry of Governmental efficiency (Doge) From access to employee information.

“These employees face an irreparable damage to their privacy interests if their employee information is incorrectly accessed and/or published by individuals associated with Doge,” adds this lawsuit. “Once the employee employees’ information is discovered incorrectly, the employee’s damage to the employee cannot retract.”

The lawsuit is also cited by the head of the Federation’s chapter as saying that the members “are concerned about using their employees’ information to stop, modify, and amend their salaries and other benefits to blackmail, threatening or intimidating them to prevent them from obtaining employment in the future;
