The Chinese leader entrusted $ 280 million with the help of the members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the summit in Tianjin.

Chinese President Xi Jinping urged regional leaders to oppose the “Cold War mentality” in the security bloc, which Beijing described as an alternative to the internationally led by the international regime.

In a speech to those present at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Monday, Xi said that member states face security challenges and increasingly complex development because the world becomes “messy and intertwined”.

“If we look back, despite the tumultuous times, we have achieved success by practicing the spirit of Shanghai,” said Shi.

“Given the future, as the world is subjected to turmoil and transformation, we must continue to follow the spirit of Shanghai, preserve our feet on the ground, and perform, and perform the best functions of the organization.”

The call to “multiple equality and organizer” in the world, Xi said that the bloc should work to create a “more just and fair and just global governance system.”

The Chinese leader said that Beijing will provide two billion yuan ($ 280 million) to help in member states this year and 10 billion yuan ($ 1.4 billion) of loans to a Sco banking consortium.

“We must benefit from the huge market on a scale … to improve the level of trade and investment facilitation.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Iranian President Masoud Bezishian and the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko among more than 20 international readers attended the two -day SCO Summit, which opened on Sunday in the northern Chinese city of Tianjin.

Founded in 2001, Shanghai began cooperation as a group of six European countries – China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – but it has expanded since then to consist of 10 permanent members and 16 dialogue and observer countries.

Analysts say China intends to use the gathering to enhance an alternative to the United States -led global regime with India in a variable geopolitical environment during the era of US President Donald Trump.
